New Tech School of IDEAS has been recognized for Distinguished Implementation of the New Tech Model. Below is a picture from our recognition at the Indiana Dept. of Education Board Meeting on March 4, 2009:
New Tech School of IDEAS...
...is a national model, Project-Based Learning school developed to prepare students for the 21st Century. IDEAS is a STEM school, with a curriculum focused on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. As a national model school, New Tech students become a part of a nationwide network of 35 schools connected via the New Tech Learning System where students gain the skills necessary to effectively market themselves in the 21st Century work place.
Our Mission:
Invention, Design, Engineering, Application, Service: where students are engaged and challenged daily using computers and new technologies. Working independently and in teams, students will complete rigorous, real-world assignments and projects that prepare them for college and the careers of the 21st Century.
